Tracy Nelson
Tracy Nelson is a 20 year
veteran of Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division where he
serves as a Wildlife Biologist and Conservation Enforcement Officer. He has
completed four week-long classes at the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker School in
New Jersey.
Tracy
has spent the last 20 years developing his skills both on and off the job,
practicing primitive skills such as primitive bow and arrow making, flint
knapping, primitive fire making, tracking and stalking, and primitive
shelter building. He has also has practiced using medicinal, edible, and
utilitarian wild plants. Tracy
is also a certified hunter education instructor and has practical knowledge
of many types of firearms. He enjoys hunting, fishing, canoeing and about
anything related to the outdoors.
Tracy is a Bible believing Christian and serves as pastor of a small church
in the community where he lives. He has been married to his wife who is also
named Tracy for 22 years and they have 3 children.
