    $250,000 per week

That's how much the new yacht that was moored in the bay (out in the deep water) this afternoon costs to rent.

    That's per week.

So a neighbor told me today.

It was huge, making even the largest sailboats look like tinker toys.

It departed quickly though, in only hours, before I remembered to go shoot some photos.

He told me the name of it, but it was an Italian name, so it escapes me now.

It boggles my mind to know that people with that kind of money hang out here.

I know in some circles, that's chump change.

But in my world, $700 for apt rent is pushing it.

I sure as hell hope so. Plus fried chicken and all the ____ you can eat.

It wasn't this one - it was larger - but looked similar.

I used to run a boating store in Traverse City, MI one day a guy came in said they needed a replacement life buoy for one that was out of date. I walked down to his super sweet like 25ft Riva boat to check it out. I bet the boat was worth 250k. Then I learned that the Riva was just the dingy and I would have to ride out to the bigger yacht. It was huge and had a helo on the deck. Never seen anything like it. They dropped 9k in my store like it was nothing. Turned out the yacht belonged to Henry Fords granddaughter. Nuts what some people have.

If they were free I might! You're right I should have phrased that differently.

I'd like to get a consulting gig with those people.
With them, I'd be able to make enough money in a year
to pay for a piece of land to put my dream home on ... with satellite dish and hookers.

Hookers and blow make everything better. Cool yurt. My buddy lived in one for two years while building his house. I think it was a pacific yurt? Way nicer than I would have expected. He had to move it around his property every couple months to avoid some taxes or zoning something.

Satellite TV hookers and blow life would be complete just about anywhere!

I hope to someday have that kind of cash. I'd want to earn it though.

Two of those Nomadic yurts stood up
to winter on the Aleutian Islands.

Good enough for me in Maine.
