    If your really going to get the full effect of a hog hunt it involves catching the animal with dogs, your buddy grabbing its hind legs, your knee in its neck and a long blade behind the shoulder. Then you get to drag its heavy ass back through all those briars, streams, mud holes, etc that you chased it into and out of. That's a hog hunt.

    I'm gonna bag one next weekend.

    Last hog kill was a hefty sow with a litter and a few other larger females in tow. About 8 total. Double tap w a Glock 23 at about 10-15 feet.

    There's a 300 lbs or so male in my usual stomping grounds. As cool as it would be...I'm not taking it on in a loin cloth with spear and Junglas. At least I'm not planning on it.

    Just 1, kill as many as you can their out of control.
    There's a 300+lb Russian boar running around here thats alluded us so far .
