Fall Creek Bushcraft + Neck Knife

I been looking for a new bushcraft knife for a while now, I remember liking Fall Creek knives a while back on my "Flexxx Strops facebook".
One day it hit me to check out Shannon's page again, I really liked what I saw, I shot him a Email and within a few hours was contacted back.

We discussed what I was looking for, grinds, colors, pins, time and cost.

Shot him over some funds and went for it.

Shannon went beyond, he sent me an email for each step the knife went through with pics, grind, drilling, heat treatment, handles...ect
I would get an Email almost every other day letting me know how things were going.

Excellent EXCELLENT SERVICE and an Amazing knife, he also included a neck knife that is awesome.

Everthing about this blade is awesome, the grind is perfect, the blade is super sharp and the heat treatment is amazing.
I took the blade out and used it to baton a few old 2 x 4's (sorry my camera died for those pics), wanted to see if I could get the
edge to roll or chip
It did neither and kept its edge with authority..

After Batoning the hell out of this blade and twisting at the edge I'm gonna use the hell out of this knife, from what I
have seen just over the last 30 mins of beating on it I trust this sucker and usually would never put this kind of grind
through such hard use.

The one thing I dislike about alot of custom bushcraft knives is the fact they will almost always use O1. Not that O1 isnt a great steel I just hate how rust prone it is, I really wish I could find someone whilling to use some stainless steels.

Dunno if you know this or not, but 3V is not a stainless steel. On the flip side, I've read it has corrosion resistance on par with D2. So that would give it semi-stainless attributes.

I was thinking about going with wood but I worry about the wood cracking or chipping...micarta will out last any wood.

That's why yours looks so thick.
That bevel angle is almost ... demonic.
