Nbc admits no assault rifle used at sandy hook

Thanks, but we still need to ban them, right? Right? Isn't that how this works? We have to protect the children!

That's what a lot of others said a few weeks ago when the video went viral. I personally agree.

    It's CERTAINLY not a Bushmaster AR-15.

I thought it may of been a Saiga 12 at first, but after watching it that time it looks too long. More like a trap/skeet gun, but one of the videos kind of makes it look like the cop removed a box magazine before clearing it.

It was from the same footage, but edited differently. It is not clear that he removes a magazine. It is hard to tell one way or the other.

I guess a skeet gun wouldn't have a pistol grip though. It may just be a shadow making it look longer.

Here is the video where it looks like he removes a magazine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLrxSgkqJQc

Alright, see, now we're getting somewhere. NBC admits that no AR-15 was found at the scene. How is it that the coroner on scene said that all of the victims were killed by gunshot wounds called by a .223 caliber bullet? If the guy can't tell the difference between the ballistics of a .223 round and whatever caliber handguns were on the scene, he probably shouldn't be a coroner. This leads to my next question, if it was a .223 caliber used as the murder weapon, where is it? I hate Pandora's box...

It's not impossible for a Coroner to mistake a close range lg. Caliber pistol wound for a .223 FMJ; they'll both make a small round entrance wound, albeit the rifle projectile might tumble and skip internally, altering the exit trajectory. The coroner isn't always the pathologist who conducts the autopsy. Also, lack of military trauma experience will limit expertise to textbooks.

I remember this coroner saying specifically that he was much more familiar with firearms than most coroners as if he was bragging.

Yesterday in SD Ca , Media hyped a Cop shooting an unarmed man , with 8 hours of " Man with AK 47 still on the loose". No AK existed. Truth is second to agenda by the media. the sensationalism is rank and is wearing thin.

    The whitewash after.

The other important point is someone familiar with firearms can identify easily what "assault" weapons were used from spent casings. If you can read it's even easier.

    At least the caliber.

I really hope this proves true and not another conspiracy theory. I've read a couple already on sandy hook. Even if it is true that no AR was used, the media will just brush it off and continue to push the gun ban.
