    Experiences gitd Kryptoglow scales?

I just saw these gitd Krytoglow Esee scales on another forum, I had never seen them before. They are available for different knife models.

On the photo's the glow seems really bright, but pictures are not always like things are in the real world. Does anyone here have experience with any of the Esee Krytoglow scales?
How would these compare to the edc forums gitd Manix 2? How is the fit & finish of these scales compared to the standard Esee scales? How do they hold up over time? I like the concept of gitd scales, but only if they are as tough as g10 or micarta and if the glow is bright and last over the years.

I think they got their start here on this forum. From what I remember those pictures were fairly accurate and the grip was pretty legit. I know hellbrent has some that he was a big fan of

I bought some for a BK-7 and was for the most part happy with them. They don’t glow blindingly bright for very long but they certainly light up enough to find the knife if you drop it in the dark. As for the durability they seemed relatively tough. Nowhere near micarta or G10 but enough that they would last for a bit. I ended up over-tightening one of the bolts and sort of crushed it. Not enough that it didn’t hold but enough to notice it. I actually put a green liner underneath it and that made it pop. It looked really good but I have this habit of tinkering with stuff that should be left alone. I ended up taking the dremel to them and ruining them. I’m not sure if this answers any of your questions. If you want gitd you could get an epoxy and glow dust from USA knifemakers and just make your own.

I have a set for my 3 and I find them to be great scales. As was stated they glow brightly but not forever. They do however glow dimly for quite a while. They're grippy enough but not too grippy.Mine are about 99% flush. Not bad though I'd never consider it an issue.

Yes yes... I have seen these. Always wanted to get some. Some day I intend to. From what I have heard they work very well. If there is any fit issues you can always take some sand paper to it and get it right im sure.

The wife has 3 sets of non-glowing purple scales. Dan's Customer Service and grips are top notch.

I've got a set for my BK-2. Same as what everyone else said. They glow bright for a while and dully for long while. No complaints from me as of yet.
