Even though these photos have not been captioned or arranged in the order taken, they give the viewer a pretty good idea of the July '08 trip. Per BNN's instructions, the host of the show was trained with minimal tools for only one day on the basics of jungle survival, then taken by boat upriver to a remote location and left in the jungle with his cameraman and director. From that point he had to navigate a 3-leg course through the jungle, cross several large creeks (he fell into one and lost his machete), build shelter and make fire before making out of the jungle. To complete his mission he was given a machete and a survival vest that included a mosquito net, pocket survival kit and poncho. He did very well considering he has never been in a jungle environment before. Photo # 10 & 56 (below) is the host (the guy we trained) of the program called "Try Before You Die." This particular episode will air in September in Holland. RAT will post a direct link to the TV show once it is available.
